Who we are

Full Circle Fund Therapies is an award-winning integrated medicine charity. We are dedicated to supporting the quality of life of children and adults being treated at St George’s Hospital, London.  I am part of the Full Circle Fund Therapies team as a Reiki Practitioner and would like to see this amazing initiative repeated in as many hospitals as possible.

We rely totally on donations to support this service and receive no government or NHS funding.

Connecting Reiki with Medicine

Being diagnosed with a life limiting condition can be a frightening and upsetting experience. Research suggests the value of integrating touch therapies such as Reiki into acute hospital settings.

We have introduced Reiki to support very sick children and adults, their carers and staff in areas of critical need at St George’s Hospital. From this, we will carry out well designed research to add to the evidence base into patients’ experience of Reiki in clinical settings.

Target

Our target is to raise £90,000 to fund the ongoing work of eight carefully selected and experienced Reiki practitioners. They will first complete a voluntary six-month period of induction, training and practice at St George’s.
